# E-Authorization  Item(s) Status

**E-Authorization Item(s) Status** option in the **More Actions** menu allows to consume approved items for the current patient visit.

## Steps to raise an E-Authorization request

* Open the **Medical Records** screen by navigating to **Home > Patient Queue > Current Medical Records**.
* In the **Diagnosis** tab, click the **E-Authorization Item(s) Status** icon in the right panel. This action opens the **E-Authorization Item(s) Status** pop-up screen.

* To consume items, select the appropriate record and enter the quantities to consume. Click **Add** to include the items in the **SOAP** section.
