# View or Modify Patient Information

The staff can easily view or edit information about patients registered within the Unite EMR. This includes important details like personal information, contact numbers, and addresses. They can also manage highlights, insurance details, documents, and allergies if needed. Additionally, staff can access the patient’s journey, treatment plan, packages, statements of account and discount cards.

### **Steps to View or Modify Patient Information**

* Open the **Patient Register** **(Home > Patient > Patient Register)** screen. Search the existing record using the Patient PIN, Name, EID, or Mobile No. in the **Search** Field. If the patient is directly available on the dashboard, click on the corresponding entry to navigate to the patient register screen. This screen allows you to view or edit the patient's information

* The top panel displays essential patient information, including visual and textual details such as the profile photo, the patient's name, and their insurance details for quick reference.

* The staff can view or edit information in **Patient Details, Highlights, Insurance, Documents, Allergy, Journey, Treatment Plan, Packages Statement of Account (SOA)** and **Discount Cards** tabs. Depending on the configuration, the displayed tabs may differ for each user.

* After making the necessary changes in the tabs, click the **SAVE** button to save all changes made on the screen.
