# Block Calendar
The **Block Calendar** feature in Unite EMR allows users to block specific time slots in a doctor's schedule for a single day, preventing appointments from being booked during those times. This feature is useful when doctors are unavailable due to sudden meetings, breaks, or other commitments. By utilizing the Block Calendar, users can efficiently manage the availability of doctors and ensure accurate scheduling. Users can Add, Edit, and Delete events using the Block Calendar option. Note: If the block is for multiple dates you can use the Clinic Calendar and My Calendar screens
