# Post ePrescription

Staff can utilize this option to generate an eRx number after the doctor's consultation.

### Steps to Post ePrescription

* Open the **Scheduler (Home > Front Desk > Scheduler)** screen. Choose the respective patient’s appointment and click the appointment card. This opens the **Appointment Information** pop-up screen.
* From the pop-up menu, select the **Post ePrescription** hyperlink. This generates eRx number for the prescribed medicines.
