### **Booking Appointments**

#### 1. How to book an Appointment for a New Patient?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Double-click on the available time slot for the required doctor. This action will open the **Appointment** pop-up screen.
* In the **Appointment** pop-up screen, please enter or select the following details:
  * Select the **New Patient** checkbox.
  * In the **APPOINTMENT** tab, input the patient's basic information and other details in the sections.
  * Finally, click the **SAVE** button to confirm the appointment for the new patient. While moving the appointment to the queue, the system redirects to the **Patient Register** screen for registration.

#### 2. How to book an Appointment for an Existing Patient?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Double-click on the available time slot for the required doctor. This action will open the **Appointment** pop-up screen.
* In the **Appointment** pop-up screen, please enter or select the following details:
  * Use the **Search** field to find the patient by entering their **PIN**, **Name**, **Emirates ID**, or **Mobile No.** Select the patient from the list to display their details.
  * Enter or update the details in **APPOINTMENT** and **PATIENT HIGHLIGHTS** tab&#x73;**.**
  * View additional details in the **PACKAGE HISTORY**, **VISIT HISTORY**, and **ITEM CONSUMPTION** tabs, if needed.
  * Finally, click the **SAVE** button to confirm the appointment for the existing patient.

#### 3. How to book a Teleconsultation Appointment?

Admin / Authorized Staff must enable the **Teleconsultation** feature available in the Doctor’s profile on the **Users** screen (**Home > Admin > User Setup > Users**).

After enabling the feature, follow these steps to book a teleconsultation appointment:

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Double-click on the available time slot for the required doctor (Teleconsultation Enabled). This action will open the **Appointment** pop-up screen.
* In the **Appointment** pop-up screen, please enter or select the following details:
  * Turn on the **TeleConsultation** switch located on the right side of the screen.
  * Identify if the patient is New or Existing:
    * For a New Patient, select the **New Patient** checkbox, go to the **APPOINTMENT** tab, input the patient's basic information and other details in the sections. Click **SAVE** to complete.
    * For an Existing Patient, use the **Search** field to find the patient by entering their **PIN**, **Name**, **Emirates ID**, or **Mobile No.** Select the patient from the list to display their details. Enter or update the details in **APPOINTMENT** and **PATIENT HIGHLIGHTS** tabs. Click **SAVE** to complete.

#### 4. How to book a Walk-In Patient Appointment?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Double-click on the available time slot for the required doctor. This action will open the **Appointment** pop-up screen.
* In the **Appointment** pop-up screen, please enter or select the following details:
  * Select the **Walk-In Patient** checkbox.
  * Identify if the patient is New or Existing:
    * For a New Patient, select the **New Patient** checkbox, go to the **APPOINTMENT** tab, input the patient's basic information and other details in the sections. Click the **SAVE** button, which redirects to the **Patient Register** screen to complete the registration process.
    * For an Existing Patient, use the **Search** field to find the patient by entering their **PIN**, **Name**, **Emirates ID**, or **Mobile No.** Select the patient from the list to display their details. Enter or update the details in **APPOINTMENT** and **PATIENT HIGHLIGHTS** tabs. Click **SAVE** to complete.

#### 5. How to book a Recurring Appointment?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Double-click on the available time slot for the respective doctor. This action will open the **Appointment** pop-up screen.
* In the **Appointment** pop-up screen, please enter or select the following details:
  * Identify if the patient is New or Existing:
    * For a New Patient, select the **New Patient** checkbox, go to the **APPOINTMENT** tab, select the intervals in the **Recurring appointments** section, and fill in the other required details. Click **SAVE**.
    * For an Existing Patient, use the **Search** field to find the patient by entering their **PIN**, **Name**, **Emirates ID**, or **Mobile No.** Select the patient from the list to display their details. In the **APPOINTMENT** tab, select the intervals in the **Recurring appointments** section, fill in the other necessary details, and click **SAVE**.

### **Editing Appointments**

#### 1. How to change the Appointment Duration?

There are two ways to change the duration of a scheduled appointment:

* **Drag-and-Drop Feature**
  * Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
  * Choose the respective Appointment. Drag the top or bottom edge of the **Appointment Card** to modify the appointment duration.
* **Using Reschedule Appointment pop-up.**
  * Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
  * Choose the respective Appointment. Double-click on the **Appointment Card**. This action opens the **Reschedule Appointment** pop-up screen.
    * In the **APPOINTMENT** tab, enter the duration in **Appointment Information** section.
    * Click **SAVE** to complete.

#### 2. How to add Remarks (General, Insurance, or Marketing)?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Double-click on the **Appointment Card**. This action opens the **Reschedule Appointment** pop-up screen.
  * In the **APPOINTMENT** tab, enter the details in **Remarks** section.
  * Click **SAVE** to complete.

#### 3. How to add Treatment Information to an Appointment?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Double-click on the **Appointment Card**. This action opens the **Reschedule Appointment** pop-up screen.
  * In the **APPOINTMENT** tab, add the respective items in **Treatment Information** section.
  * Click **SAVE** to complete.

### **Viewing Patient Information**

#### 1. How to view Package History?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Double-click on the **Appointment Card**. This action opens the **Reschedule Appointment** pop-up screen.
  * In the **PACKAGE HISTORY** tab, select a Package using the **Select Package** dropdown me

#### 2. How to view Visit History?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Double-click on the **Appointment Card**. This action opens the **Reschedule Appointment** pop-up screen.
  * In the **VISIT HISTORY** tab, view and access detailed information about past visits.

#### 3. How to view Item Consumption?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Double-click on the **Appointment Card**. This action opens the **Reschedule Appointment** pop-up screen.
  * In the **ITEM CONSUMPTION** tab, view and access detailed information about the items consumed during the visit, including quantities and price details.

#### 4. How to view Patient Highlights?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Double-click on the **Appointment Card**. This action opens the **Reschedule Appointment** pop-up screen.
  * In the **PATIENT HIGHLIGHTS** tab, view detailed information about the patient's highlights.

#### 5. How to search for a patient with Future Appointments?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Click the **Search** icon in the **Toolbar**. This action opens the **Appointment Search** pop-up screen.
  * In the **Appointment Search** pop-up screen, select the **Doctor** dropdown and enter the **Patient Name**, **PIN** or **Mobile No** in the **Search** field. Click the **SEARCH** to find the appointments. After executing the search, the results will populate in the spread, displaying past and future appointments related to that patient.

### **Appointment Status Management**

#### 1. How to confirm an Appointment?

There are three ways to update the Appointment Status:

**1. Using More Actions Menu**

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Click the **More Actions** menu on the **Appointment Card**. This action opens a pop-up screen with a list of statuses.
  * Select the **Confirm Appointment** option. The status will now be updated.

**2. Using Appointment Information pop-up.**

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Click the **Appointment Card**. This action opens the **Appointment Information** pop-up screen.
  * Select the **Appointment** confirmed option from the **Appointment Status** dropdown menu. The status will now be updated.

**3. Using Reschedule Appointment pop-up.**

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Double-click on the **Appointment Card**. This action opens the **Reschedule Appointment** pop-up screen.
  * In the **APPOINTMENT** tab, update the status using the **Appointment Status** in the **Appointment Information** section.
  * Click **SAVE** to complete.

#### 2. How to view the Cancelled Appointments?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* In the **Toolbar**, click the **Filter** icon to open the Filter section.
  * Select the **Show Cancelled Appointment** checkbox in the Filter section. This action will display the cancelled appointment on the scheduler screen.

#### 3. How to view the New Patient Appointments?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* In the **Toolbar**, click the **Filter** icon to open the Filter section.
  * Select the **Show New Patient's Appointment** checkbox in the Filter section. This action will filter the new patient appointment on the scheduler screen.

### **Filtering and Viewing Appointments**

#### 1. How to view Appointments on Different Dates?

Two date calendars are available on the **Scheduler** screen: one above the **Waiting List** section and another in the **Toolbar**. These calendars allow you to view appointments for both past and future dates.

#### 2. How to view Appointments for One, Multiple, or All Departments?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* In the **Toolbar**, click the **Filter** icon to open the Filter section.
  * Click the **DEPARTMENT** option in the Filter section. Select one or multiple departments to filter the appointments.

#### 3. How to view Appointments for One, Multiple, or All Doctors?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* In the **Toolbar**, click the **Filter** icon to open the Filter section.
  * Click the **DOCTOR** option in the Filter section. Select one or multiple doctor to filter the appointments

#### 4. How to view Appointments by Type?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* In the **Toolbar**, click the **Filter** icon to open the Filter section.
  * Click the **APPOINTMENT TYPE** option in the Filter section. Select one or multiple appointment types to filter the appointments.

#### 5. How to view Appointments by Status?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* In the **Toolbar**, click the **Filter** icon to open the Filter section.
  * Click either the **APPOINTMENT STATUS** or **VISIT STATUS** option in the Filter section. Select one or more status to filter the appointments

#### 6. How to Print an Appointment?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* In the **Toolbar**, click the **Print** icon to open the **Appointment Status Report** pop-up screen.
  * Select the **Doctor** and the **Date Range** using the date pickers. Click the **SEARCH** option to search the result.
  * Either download the details as a PDF or Print a physical copy.

### **Managing the Appointment Schedule**

#### 1. How to Refresh the Appointment Schedule?

A **Refresh** icon is located in the **Toolbar** of the **Scheduler** screen, enabling users to refresh the interface with the latest modifications.

#### 2. How to Navigate to the Current Time in the Scheduler?

Users can easily return to the present time in the interface by clicking the **Current Time** icon, found in the **Scheduler** screen's **Toolbar.**

#### 3. How to Expand/Shrink the Appointment Schedule?

Users can expand or shrink the scheduler view using the **Expand & Shrink** icon, located in the **Toolbar** of the **Scheduler** screen.

#### 4. How to change the View Count in the Scheduler?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* In the **Toolbar**, click the **Settings** icon to open the **Scheduler Settings** pop-up screen.
  * Enter the details in the pop-up screen and click **SAVE.**

#### 1. How to view Appointments Weekly?

A dropdown menu in the **Toolbar** of the **Scheduler** screen provides the flexibility to view appointments in **Day**, **Multi-day**, **Week**, or **Month** formats.

### **Navigating Appointment Pages**

In cases where many doctors, departments, or specialties are available, the view will adjust to multiple pages. **Right-Arrow** icon in the toolbar can be used to navigate back to the next page.

#### 2. How to view the Previous Page of Appointments?

### **Rescheduling Appointments**

#### 1. How to Reschedule an Appointment to a Different Date?

There are two ways to reschedule the appointment to a different date:

**1. Drag-and-Drop Feature**

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* In the **Toolbar**, change the view to **Multi-day** or **Week** using the dropdown menu.
* Select the respective appointment and drag the **Appointment Card** to the required date for the same doctor. The appointment will be rescheduled.

**2. Using Reschedule Appointment pop-up.**

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Double-click on the **Appointment Card**. This action opens the **Reschedule Appointment** pop-up screen.
  * In the **APPOINTMENT** tab, change the **Date** using the date picker in the **Appointment Information** section.
  * Click **SAVE** to complete.

#### 2. How to Reschedule an Appointment to a Different Doctor?

There are two ways to reschedule the appointment to a different doctor:

**1. Drag-and-Drop Feature**

  * In the **APPOINTMENT** tab, change the **Doctor** using the dropdown menu in the **Appointment Information** section.
  * Click **SAVE** to complete.

### **Financial Information**

#### 1. How to view the Advance Amount?

While scheduling an appointment for an existing patient, the **Appointment** pop-up screen displays the **Advance** amount below the profile picture. This information is also available in the **Appointment Information** pop-up.

#### 2. How to view the Overdue Amount?

While scheduling an appointment for an existing patient, the **Appointment** pop-up screen displays the **Overdue** amount below the profile picture. This information is also available in the **Appointment Information** pop-up.

### **Patient Queue and Invoicing**

#### 1. How to add a Patient to the Queue?

There are two ways to add the patient appointment to the queue:

**1. Using Appointment Card**

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Click the **Right-Arrow** available on the **Appointment Card**. For existing patients, this action moves the appointment to the queue. For new patients, it redirects to **Patient Register**.

**2. Using Appointment Information pop-up.**

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Click the **Appointment Card**. This action opens the **Appointment Information** pop-up screen.
  * Click the hyperlink labeled **Add to Queue** to move the appointment to queue. The same actions apply as described above.

**3. Using Appointment Search pop-up**

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* On the toolbar, click the **Search** icon. The **Appointment Search** pop-up opens.
* In the **Appointment Search** pop-up, select the required **Doctor**, and then click the **SEARCH** button. The appointment details appear in the table.
* In the relevant line item, click the **Arrow** icon to add the appointment to the queue.

#### 2. How to create an Invoice in the Scheduler?

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Choose the respective Appointment. Click the **Appointment Card**. This action opens the **Appointment Information** pop-up screen.
  * Click the hyperlink labeled **Make Invoice**. This action navigates to the **Invoice** screen for billing.

### Miscellaneous

#### 1. How do I update a doctor’s availability in the Scheduler for Fridays only?

To set a doctor’s availability in the **Scheduler** for Fridays only, follow these steps:

* Open the **My Calendar** screen by navigating to **Home > Setup > Calendar > My Calendar**.
* In the **Clinic** drop-down list, select the appropriate clinic.
* In the **Select User** drop-down list, choose the doctor. This filters the calendar to display only the selected doctor’s schedule.
* Locate the desired **effective date** in the calendar and double-click on it. This opens the **Resource Calendar** pop-up.
* In the pop-up, complete the following fields:
  * **Title**: Enter the event title.
  * **Type**: Select **Working** from the **Type** drop-down list.
  * **Date**: Choose the effective date using the **date picker**.
  * **User**: Select the doctor from the **User** drop-down list.
  * **Time**: Set the **From** and **To** times using the time pickers. *If the doctor is available all day, select the **All Day** checkbox.*
* In the **Repeat** section:
  * Set **Repeat Type** to **Weekly**.
  * On the right, select only the **Friday** checkbox to specify the recurrence.
* In the **Ends** drop-down list, choose one of the following:
  * **Never Ends** – the event continues indefinitely.
  * **Ends after a number of times** – specify how many times it should repeat.
  * **Ends by a specific date** – choose the end date using the **date picker**.
* Select the **Save** button to create the event.

The doctor’s schedule will now reflect availability for Fridays only in the Scheduler.

#### 2. How do I enable the "Update Visit" option for a user?

An admin or authorized staff member can follow the steps below to enable the **Update Visit** option for a user.

* Open the **Application Configuration** by navigating to **Home > Setup > Application Configuration**.
* In the **Users** dropdown, select the required user. If no user is selected, the configuration will apply to all users in the clinic.
* In the left panel, select **Visit Queue**.
* In the right panel, expand **Patient Visit Queue Update Visit,** and configure the options. Once configured, the **Update Visit** option will be available to the user based on the selected settings.

#### 3. How do I update the doctor's display count in the Scheduler screen?

To change the number of doctor schedules displayed per page in the Scheduler, an admin or authorized staff member can follow these steps:

* Open **Application Configuration** by navigating to **Home > Setup > Application Configuration**.
* In the **Users** dropdown, select the required user. If no user is selected, the configuration will apply to all users in the clinic.
* In the left panel, select **Appointment**.
* In the right panel, expand the **Doctor Display Count** section.
* Select the **Edit** icon next to the **Number of Doctor Display in the Appointment Screen** field.
* Enter the desired number of doctor schedules to display per page (e.g., **7**).
* Select the **Save** icon to apply the change.

**Example:** If you enter **7**, the Scheduler will display 7 doctors’ schedules per page. Additional doctors will appear on the following pages.

#### 4. How to delete a block calendar event in the Scheduler?

* Open the **Scheduler** screen by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Click the **BLOCK CALENDAR** button available in the toolbar. This action opens the **Block Calendar** pop-up.
* Use the date picker to select the date of the block calendar event you want to delete. You can delete only future block calendar events, not present or past events.
* After selecting the date, locate the event and click the **Delete** icon to remove the block calendar entry.

#### 5. How to enable Make Invoice option for a front desk user?

Only an admin or authorized staff member with the necessary access rights can enable settings in the application.

To enable the setting, follow the steps below:

* Open the **Application Configuration** screen by navigating to **Home > Setup > Application Configuration.**
* In the **Users** dropdown, select the required user. If no user is selected, the configuration will apply to all users in the clinic.
* On the left-side section, click **Visit Queue**.
* Search the **Patient Visit Queue Make Invoice** in the right-side section and then, select the appropriate option.

#### 6. How to set the display sequence for doctors in the scheduler?

Only an admin or authorized staff member with appropriate access rights can set the display sequence for doctors in the **Users** screen.

* Open the **Users (Home > Admin > User Setup > Users)** screen.
* Use the **Search** field to locate the specific user. Click the **Edit** icon to open the user account.
* Navigate to the **Clinic Access & Permissions** tab.
* Expand the current clinic dropdown. Click the **SELECT USERS & SET PERMISSION** button.
* Drag the user profiles to the required sequence in the **Selected Users** section.
* Click **SAVE** to apply the changes.

Once these configurations are complete, the doctor’s schedule will appear in your Scheduler.

#### 7. How do I change the scheduler timings for a specific user?

* Open the **My Calendar** screen by navigating to **Home > Setup > Calendar > My Calendar**.
* Select the respective user in the **Users** dropdown menu.
* Double-click on any daily calendar. The **Resource Calendar** pop-up will open. Update the timing details as needed.
* Click **SAVE** to apply the changes.

#### 8. How do I update or change the clinic timings?

Only an admin or authorized staff member has the access rights to update clinic timings.

To update the clinic timings, please follow the steps below:

* Open the **Clinic Calendar** screen by navigating to **Home > Setup > Calendar > Clinic Calendar**.
* Double-click on any daily calendar entry highlighted in blue. A dialog box will appear prompting you to choose whether to edit the current day or the entire series. Select the appropriate option.
* The **Clinic Calendar** pop-up will open. Update the timing details as needed.
* Click **SAVE** to apply the changes.

#### 9. Is it possible to use more than one package during the same appointment?

No, only one package can be consumed per appointment for a single patient. To use another package, a separate appointment must be created for the patient.

#### 10. How do I edit an event in the Block Calendar?

To edit an event in the **Block Calendar**, follow these steps:

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Click the **BLOCK CALENDAR** button. The **Block Calendar** pop-up appears.
* Locate the event you want to modify, and click the **Edit Event** icon.
* The **Edit Event** section appears above the toolbar.
* Update the necessary details:
  * Use the **date picker** to change the event date.
  * Adjust the **Block From** and **Block To** time pickers to change the time.
  * Modify any **remarks** in the **Remarks** text box.
* Click **Save** to apply the changes.

#### 11. How do I block a doctor's schedule for a specific duration?

To block a doctor's schedule, you can use either the **Block Calendar** option in the Scheduler for single-day events or the **My Calendar** screen for multiple days or recurring events.

**Scheduler**

Navigate to the **Scheduler** screen and use the **Block Calendar** option to mark the doctor as unavailable for a specific day.

**My Calendar**

* Open the **My Calendar** **( Home > Setup > Calendar > My Calendar)** screen.
* From the **Select User** dropdown, choose the doctor whose schedule needs to be blocked.
* Locate and double-click on the effective date of the event. The **Resource Calendar** pop-up appears.
* Fill in the event details.
* Click **SAVE** to block the schedule.

#### 12. Why is the particular doctor's schedule not available in my scheduler?

**To add the doctor to your Scheduler view sequence:**

* Open the **Users (Home > Admin > User Setup > Users)** screen.
* Use the **Search** field to locate the specific user. Click the **Edit** icon to open the user account.
* Navigate to the **Clinic Access & Permissions** tab.
* Expand the current clinic dropdown. Click the **SELECT USERS & SET PERMISSION** button.
* Drag the required profile from **User List** to **Selected Users** section.
* Click **SAVE** to apply the changes.

Once these configurations are complete, the doctor’s schedule will appear in your Scheduler.

#### **13. Why is a purchased package not appearing while booking an appointment or visit?**

If a patient’s package does not appear in the **Packages** dropdown while booking an appointment or visit, it may be due to the package being expired or inactive. Expired or inactive packages are not available for selection during booking.

To resolve this, extend the package validity:

* Navigate to **Home > Packages > Package Consumption**, search for and select the patient, and use the **Extend Package** dropdown to update the validity.
* Navigate to **Home > Packages > Packages**, select the relevant package, and update the **Package Expiry** date.

Once the validity is extended, the package will become active and appear for selection during booking.

#### **14. How to change the doctor's sequence in the Scheduler for a user?**

An admin or authorized staff can change the doctor's display order in the Scheduler for a specific user by following these steps:

* Open the **Users (Home > Admin > User Setup > Users)** screen.

#### 15. How to print the label for a patient?

A patient label can be printed from the **Scheduler**, **Patient Queue**, or **Patient Register**, depending on the workflow.

**Scheduler**

* Open the **Scheduler** by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler.**
* Locate and click on the patient's appointment card.
* Click on the **Print Label** option to open the **Label Print** pop-up.
* Click the **Print icon** to print the physical copy.

**Patient Register**

* Open the **Patient Registe**r by navigating to **Home > Patient > Patient Register.**
* Search for an existing record using the Patient PIN, Name, EID, or Mobile No. in the Search field. Select the respective patient from the list.
* In the **Personal** tab, click the **PRINT LABEL** hyperlink to open the **Label Print** pop-up.
* Click the **Print icon** to print the physical copy.

**Patient Queue**

* Open the **Patient Queue** screen by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Patient Queue.**
* Choose the respective patient visit from the queue.
* Click on the **More Actions** menu associated with the selected patient visit.
* From the pop-up screen, select the **PRINT LABEL** option.
* This will open the **Label Print** pop-up screen, displaying the patient's details along with a barcode for identification.
* Click the **Print** icon located in the top right corner of the pop-up screen to print the label.

#### 16. How do I update a visit from Selfpay to Insurance?

You can update the visit type from Selfpay to Insurance using either the **Scheduler** or the **Patient Queue** screen.

Ensure the patient’s insurance details are recorded in the **Insurance** tab of the **Patient Register** screen. The system allows switching the visit type between **Cash** and **Insurance** only when valid insurance information is available.

**Scheduler**

* Open the **Scheduler** screen by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Scheduler**.
* Click the appointment card for the relevant patient. The **Appointment Information** pop-up appears.
* Click **Update Visit**. The **Update Patient to Queue** pop-up appears.
* Select the **Insurance** radio button.
* Click **Update**. The visit type is updated to Insurance.

**Patient Queue**

* Open the **Patient Queue** screen by navigating to **Home > Front Desk > Patient Queue.**
* Select the relevant patient visit. Click the **More Actions** menu.
* Choose **Update Visit** from the menu. The **Update Patient to Queue** pop-up appears.
* Select the **Insurance** radio button.
* Click **Update** to apply the changes.
